Chris Richmond

Chris began playing music at 12 after his cousin, Charles Lorme visited while on tour. He was heavily influenced by the guitar gods of the day. But, at 15, he discovered players that made him re-think how to approach music. As he got older, he started to realize that the notes have to count. During college, he worked 5 nights a week in the NYC village music scene where he honed his skills as a guitar player, writer but most importantly, as an entertainer. Almost immediately after that ended, an old childhood friend, Steven Lefkow invited him to check out his project, Kangaroo Jones. Immediately, Chris knew that he wanted to be around this group and they have been doing it ever since. Through the years, Chris has played with some awesome musicians. His goal has always been to absorb the lessons that each person has to offer. Chris is recently married and looking forward to the future. Life, love, family and Music. And, his favorite pastime: Golf
