Ryan Zadrozna
Ryan Zadrozna began his musical career having picked up the trumpet at a very young age. His greatest aspiration was, and continues to be, emulating the sound of the horn section as heard in his late father's recording of, “I'll Never Let You Go:” This song was both written and sung by his father.
The focal point of Ryan’s life in school was always playing trumpet. He always stood out as the leader of his trumpet sections and even enjoyed performing in “big bands.” As a featured player in the Bergenfield High School Marching Band, Ryan made a name for himself both with his personality and ability to play louder than the entire 200 piece band! Live performances were held at such notable venues as, the University of Massachusettes, Walt Disney World, and the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame, all of which culminated into Ryan earning several awards and honors. Additional performances with the New Jersey State Band included appearances at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center as well as many other notable venues.
Ryan’s focus on Jazz in school drove him to create a Jazz Ensemble. After two years in development, he acted as both a performer and director. With the Jazz Ensemble, Ryan had many improv solo opportunities including a flugelhorn feature in “Round Midnight” and was given the chance to perform onstage with members of Blood Sweat and Tears.
Currently, Ryan is studying Music Education at Montclair State University. .
